I've been through it lately, but God is working The last month has been really tough. I got pneumonia and the flu at the same time. A couple of weeks after recovery, I had a blood pressure scare. Hypertension runs on both sides of my family and my Dad died when I was 11 months old due to a cerebral hemmorage. God has used this all as a time for me to reorder my life. I have joined a gym and I am laying off of sweets. I have also been more aware of God's presence and His calling. Amazed at a "normal" day Today I have the privilege of watching my little girl play. We are playing in the gameroom and she is sliding down a little slide, jumping into a bean bag. What is so amazing is the precious gift of my daughter. For 17 years my wife and I longed for a baby to fill our empty arms. We have been blessed with several foster children who grow up with us. But we never had a baby...except for a time of 6 days...a baby we had was moved without good reason and what heartache we felt!
