New Casting Crowns CD Last week I was preparing a sermon on Ezekiel 37 - the very dry bones. I was beginning a sermon series on revival. I got your new CD and as I was driving the song "Spirit Wind" came on. It was a powerful confirmation to me that this was the word God wanted me to share with His people. I prayed and prayed for the power of the Holy Spirit to fill me and our church and it DID! I closed worship with "Spirit Wind" as I prayed at the altar. Blessings are coming! My wife and I just celebrated 10 years of marriage on the 16th of January. Little did we know that after 10 years we would have 3 children, and twins on the way. It's interesting how God works in our life. I would say that as a pastor I didn't always realize it. I know he loves me and the proof is Jesus dying on the cross, rising on the third day, and his glorious ascension to the throne of God, but to see God's love activily working in my life changes my perspective and gives new meaning to preaching. God kicked me in the face So about two months ago I couldn't sleep. I as laying in bed whith the awesome thought for a charity event rolling around in my head. The problem was two fold, I have never done a charity event and I had no idea who I wanted to do a charity event for. So, I got out of bed at 3am and pulled out the laptop and started writing a plan for this mystery event.
